Interclamp Self Closing Safety Gates feature a robust and durable spring-loaded self-closing hinge to automatically close the gate for personnel protection. The sprung hinges are tension adjustable and can be set to the required amount of closing force. The key clamp self closing gates are ideal for fall prevention and personnel protection in areas such as access ladders and stairways, walkways, warehouses, zone segregation and machinery guards.
Constructed from high quality galvanised tube and Interclamp fittings for durability and corrosion resistance for an extended product life, the gates are also available with the tube powder coated in safety yellow for a highly contrasting finish.
Compatible with the standard Interclamp fittings and the Safety Post range, the self closing gates are quick and easy to install. The gates are height adjustable and supplied to suit a centre-to-centre post separation of 1200mm, although they can be quickly cut to suit a smaller opening on site.
Supplied in a simple kit form, the self closing gates are easy to transport into difficult to access areas compared with traditional fabricated structures. No welding is required eliminating the need for bulky welding equipment and hot-site permits. The gates are constructed with high-quality Interclamp fittings which make the gates quick to assemble with the minimum of tools. Tubular posts to suit are available on request.
